"All Brothers of A/101 AVN"

This site is dedicated to the brave and honorable soldiers who served in VN with A Company, 101st Aviation. This site also serves as a reminder to our active duty comrades of the rich A/101 Aviation heritage they now represent and their responsibility to carry forth and enrich this heritage for those who will follow in the future.

"We have shared the incommunicable experience of war.

We have felt, we still feel, the passion of life to its top....

In our youths, our hearts were touched with fire."

Oliver Wendell Holmes

Philosophically, the past is prologue. What we have today, down at Fort Campbell, some in the Middle East, some in Central American, are Comancheros. Living, breathing, flying Comancheros...the outcome of what we all once were, and so on tomorrow, men and women who carry the sword and cherish the memory of us all, as we do them.

Major Bob Clewell, Comanchero6 Oct70-May71

"Just say it was the Comancheros"

A poem written by Jay Tate, Comanchero 26/666 and dedicated to the late Frank Duncan, Comanchero 10, who lost his battle with cancer 2/8/99, and is now hovering above us.

In Memorial of Cap'n Frank Duncan

Tribute to Frank Duncan by Blanco Tesoke (J.D. USN Retired), Poetry and photographs by Susan C. Scott and all Cap'n Duncan's other great friends that were lucky enough to have Frank be a part of there life. He was one of the good guys!
